This time only 1700 PO vacancies for IBPS PO 2017. There are more than nine banks who are not parting IBPS PO 2017. is this related to poor quality of candidates, coming through IBPS ?

IBPS PO is a very prestigious job with offers attractive salary, status and other benefits and perks. IBPS has released the exam notification for PO and the exam is going to be held soon.
To prepare for IBPS PO exam, Candidates must know the exam pattern and syllabus. To crack the IBPS PO is not an easy task. one need a strategy and study plan for the IBPS PO exam. you should make a time table to study for the exam. here I shared some study tips which will help you in study.
Follow below mentioned study tips for bank exam preparation:
1) Preparation strategy: make a smart study plan. Find out in which topic you are good and which topic you need give extra attention. Make strategy to read all the subjects daily.
2) Study All topic: Cover all the topics while studying. Write down the topics you have completed and make sure you didn’t leave any topic
3) Time management: Practice according to paper pattern as the question asked in the exam. Solve previous year paper with in time limit and analyze yourself.
4) Make Short notes: Make short notes. Use diagrams or flow chart. Short notes will help you to revise syllabus.
5) Be update with Current affair: Be updated with the daily events that happening around and banking and financial news.
6) Solved previous paper: solve mock test papers and old question papers. Solving these question papers will improve your solving speed.
7) Speed with Accuracy: try to solve question with accuracy. Practice will improve your accuracy of problem solving.
8) Revision: It is essential to revise all the concepts and formulas you have read. Revise everyday what you have studied.
9) Healthy diet: Don’t skip your meal. healthy food will help you to concentrate in the problem solving as well as in the exam.
10) Confidence: The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself. If you have decided, be positive that you can crack the exam. Study with concentration, be positive and be confident.

Exam Preparation / Delhi University (DU) Registration For Admission Started

There are 60 undergraduate programmes in which admission is offered by Delhi University this year.There are 56,000 seats up for grabs; process is entirely online, application window will close on June 12

Delhi University’s (DU) online application process for admissions will begin on Monday from 5 p.m. The application window will close on June 12.
The process will enable undergraduate applicants to seek admission to 60 undergraduate programmes in 63 colleges of the university. There are around 56,000 seats up for grabs that usually receive nearly 2,50,000 applications.

The application process went online for the first time last year and the university has said that it has sought feedback to strengthen the portal and has added dedicated servers to handle the traffic on the website.

Complete information for admissions is likely to be uploaded by Monday noon.

Features of This Year DU Admission, Requirement :

1. Single form : The university has said that applicants will have to fill out only one form and can can edit it till the last day (June 12) by adding courses and updating information.

2. This year, students will have to upload their Class XII Board examination roll number to ensure that a single student does not fill multiple forms. Those students who are awaiting their Board results can register themselves and fill in their marks once the results are declared.

3. During online registration, applicants will have to upload a passport-size photograph, scanned signature, self-attested Class X Board exam certificate, and self-attested Class XII marksheet.

4. For those applying for reserved seats, sports quota or ECA admission the respective certificates will also have to be uploaded.

Helpline for DU Admission

1. The university informed that it will organise ‘open days’ to guide and counsel admission seekers and their parents between May 22 and May 31 at the conference centre, gate number 4, in North Campus from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

2. For undergraduate admission seekers, a help desk will be set up at room number 4 of the centre from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m throughout the admission process.

3. The university has also launched a helpline number 011-27006900 to deal with queries from students.

Cut-offs For DU Admission : There is a talk going on with CBSE for lowering the cutoff for admission to this year.

JEE Advanced, the examination for admissions to IITs, the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, and the Indian Institute of Science, was held on Sunday, May 21.

a. Max marks: 183 and duration: 3 hrs

b. The booklet had 36 printed pages and 54 questions in total.

c. There were three parts of paper-2. Marks for each subject was 61.

d. In each part there were three sections- Sec-1 (Max. marks-21), Sec-2 (Max. Marks-28) and Sec-3 (Max. marks-12)

e. Sec-1 had 7 questions with four options in which only one option was correct. Marking scheme in this section is +3 in case the option was correct, 0 mark for no response, -1 mark for all other cases. Maximum marks for this section was 21.

f. Sec-2 had 7 questions with four options in which one or more than one options were correct. Marking scheme in this section is +4 in case all options are correct, +1 for each correct response, 0 marks for no response and -2 for all other cases. Maximum marks for this section was 28.

g. Sec-3 had 2 paragraphs with two questions in each paragraph. Each question had four options with only one correct option. Marking scheme in this section is +3 if the correct option is marked, 0 marks in all other cases. Maximum marks for this section was 12.

Reaction of students after Paper 2:

* They found the overall level of paper moderate level. Physics and chemistry was reported tougher than mathematics section.

Distribution of questions and Patterns :

*Physics- 52% questions from class XII & 48 % from Class XI.

* Chemistry- 54% questions from class XII & 46 % from Class XI

* Mathematics- 79% questions from class XII & 21 % from Class XI

* No mistakes reported till now as complete paper is yet to be analysed.

* Total no. of questions ( 54 questions) remains same as last year however total marks of Paper-2 has changed from 186 to 183 marks this year.

Quick comparison - Previous Year Paper :

* The Matching Type questions is different as compared to previous years. There were three columns to be matched.

* Equal weightage was given to Class 11 and 12.

* The Total marks of each Paper reduced from 186 to 183.

* There were no surprises this year.
